This notice explains how Stockyard Social collects, uses and protects information submitted through our employment application and hiring process.
Information we collect
We collect the information you provide, including your name, contact details, position or area of interest, availability, work history, qualifications, résumé and application responses. We also keep relevant hiring communications, interview notes and decision records.
We may ask whether you meet the position’s minimum age requirement and are authorized to work in the United States. If you apply using a Stockyard ID, your application may be linked to that account.
Please do not include Social Security numbers, identity documents, medical information, religious information, marital or family status, or personal photographs in your initial application.
How we use your information
We use applicant information to:
- Review qualifications and suitability for a position.
- Communicate about applications and arrange interviews.
- Make and document hiring decisions.
- Maintain hiring records and meet legal obligations.
Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview or employment.
Who can access your information
Access is limited to authorized hiring personnel and service providers supporting the hiring process. Internal hiring notes are not displayed in the applicant interface.
We do not publish applications, sell applicant information or provide it to Perk Partners for unrelated marketing. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to address legal claims, fraud or security concerns.
Application communications
We may contact you by email or telephone about your application. Applying does not subscribe you to marketing.
Any automated recruiting text-message program will require a separate opt-in where applicable. Consent to marketing or automated texts is not required to apply.
How long we keep information
For applicants who are not hired or who withdraw, we retain application records for two years after the later of:
- The final hiring decision or withdrawal; or
- The last substantive hiring activity or creation of a related hiring record for that application.
We retain records longer when required by law or a legal hold.
If you are hired, relevant application records become part of your personnel file and follow the applicable employment-records retention schedule.
After the applicable retention period and any legal hold end, records are securely deleted or disposed of. Backup copies expire under our backup-retention schedule.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect applicant information, including access restrictions. No system or method of transmission is completely secure.
Your questions and requests
You may contact us to correct application information, withdraw your application or request deletion. We may verify your identity before acting on a request. Withdrawal or a deletion request does not require us to remove records that must be retained for legal obligations or legal claims.
To request a reasonable accommodation or another way to apply, contact us. Please do not include medical details in your initial message.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as our hiring practices or legal requirements change. The notice version presented when you apply will be recorded with your application.
